Job Description

My client in Hayward is looking for an Accounting Supervisor immediately.

Urgent need.

Job duties:
 Plan, organizes, and oversee multiple components
Working knowledge of auditing, month end close, GASB, GAAP, GAAS AND GOVERNMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
Create budgets and worksheets, admisister capital project recap spreadsheets, fixed assets, inventories, purchase orders, finacial statements, 
Finacial statements, train staff on accounting systems, manage daily operations, income recongnition, cash flow, cross train staff, supervise and deligate
AP/AR and fixed assets 

Must have experience using Great Plains

Must have 5 to 10 years experience in Public Government

Prepare audits

Job Requirements

8 to 10 years experience in a public government sector required

Strong experience auditing, month end close
producing financial statements and full cycle accounting

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Proficient in Great Plains
