Job Description


Senior Accountant

Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements from accounting system and extract general ledger information for analysis and reporting purposes
Monthly transactions and journal entries along with supporting documentation; maintain and reconcile detailed general ledger
Accounts payable and maintain accurate vendor files
Compile weekly credit card receipts and verify items are correctly coded and approved
Weekly check run and coordinate the process and submission of the annual Form 1099
Assist with preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data
Experience with month/quarter/year-end closing procedures

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years of progressive financial accounting and reporting experience
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Work well in fast paced environment
Experience with Navision, Oracle, SAP, or Great Plains is a plus
CPA/CPA track is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
