West Los Angeles investment management firm with an incredible reputation and outstanding company perks is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. In this position, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for various general accounting functions. Duties for the Senior Accountant include conducting general ledger management, accruals, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and month / quarter / year-end closes. The Senior Accountant will also handle cash flow management and reporting, assist with payroll, manage corporate filings, assist with investment accounting, audit planning, and balance sheet analysis.
Qualified candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
At least three years of corporate accounting experience is required.
CPA is preferred, but not required.
Investment management or financial services industry is a plus.
Must have strong GAAP knowledge.
Ability to learn new concepts quickly is a MUST.
Excellent analytical and communication skills are also required.
