Job Description

The Senior Staff Accountant reports to the Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.

Location: Corona, CA and surrounding area
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities

  • Handle a large volume of inventory transactions
  • Make sure Margins are accurate
  • Reconciling sub ledger
  • Reconciling revenue transactions (90,000 per month)
  • Daily ACH payments- bringing them over into Excel and reconciling
  • Create and prepare daily journal entries for consultant refunds and payments
  • Import bank transactions for multiple bank accounts on a daily basis
  • Process invoices for payment in accordance to payment terms
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets and related Depreciation Schedules ensuring proper recording of purchases and disposals of assets in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare assigned monthly journal entries in accordance with established timelines
  • Prepare assigned Balance Sheet and sales order reconciliations in accordance with established timelines
  • Assist with the review of the Financial Statements on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with the preparation of needed schedules for all audits and reviews
  • Assist with ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by Accounting Manager
  • 100+ accounting transactions per day
 
Education/Experience
  • Bachelors in Accounting
  • Prior accounting experience a plus
  • Solid understanding of GAAP
 
Skills/Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc)
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus, not required
  • Detail oriented
  • High attention to accuracy

Education/Experience:
