Job Description

A dynamically growing and highly profitable, mid-cap global consumer goods firm is seeking an Assistant Controller. 

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for the accounting management at the corporate headquarters and will oversee a staff of accountants domestically and internationally. 

The Assistant Controller will oversee the entire operational accounting duties including month-end close, preparation of financial statements, interfacing with external auditors, implementation and maintenance of internal controls, policies and procedures, as well as systems upgrades and implementations.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
- CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years' of progressive accounting management experience.
- Experience with a global/multi-national business with multiple locations / multiple entities.
- Experience with inventory accounting, COGS, distribution and cost accounting.
