PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR (STAND ALONE)

Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform daily payroll department operations
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
- Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
- Process correct 401k contributions/loan payments
- Process accurate and timely quarterly and year-end reporting as needed
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Process all payroll checks including manual checks

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 3-6 years of dedicated payroll processing
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills We are an equal opportunity employer.
