We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to assist with a temporary need for a well-known construction company in Tualatin, Oregon.
Primary Responsibilities will include- 

  • Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment 
  • Processing check requests 
  • Accurately maintain files in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices 
  • Prepare daily cash deposits and document cash receipts in the ERP system
  • Updates account aging reports by totaling unpaid invoices for each vendor
  • Make weekly collection calls
  • Identify and resolve account discrepancies
  • Professionally communicate with clients and vendors
 
Qualified applicants will have:
  • 2+ years of high volume accounts payable/receivable experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Customer service oriented demeanor
  • Strong will, and proven ability to work independently
  • Ability to work a 7am-4pm work day
Ideal applicants will also have:
  • Experience working in a construction environment
  • Notary certification
