We have a construction client seeking a project accountant.
This is a new position created due to restructuring internal responsibilities. They will do A-Z accounting for project, budget management and change orders. They will work closely with te project managers and subcontractors, so they must be able to communicate well with corporate staff all the way down to mom and pop vendors. A third party handles their receipts and payments, they are just responsible for accuracy in entry.
It is a hectic environment, so they must be able to prioritize and jump back on task. Prefer someone with 2-3 years experience, but someone with 1-2 years in public would be great, too! They focus more on cultural fit than anything else. They must be looking for long-term position. They use CMIC and are converting ViewPoint over the next year. No need for experience in either one. Some decent excel skills would be a plus. They must pass a background check and drug screen prior to start. They also do randoms in the office, but not frequently.
