Our construction-related client is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to manage outstanding customer invoices, ensure timely payments, and support healthy cash flow. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal teams for efficient billing and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts and proactively follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email.
• Review AR aging reports to meet cash flow goals.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and billing teams to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Prepare weekly AR reports and assist with month-end closing processes.
• Support process improvements to enhance billing and collections efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, preferably in construction or HVAC industries.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Foundation, Viewpoint, Sage, or QuickBooks).
• Knowledge of lien releases, waivers, and progress billing is a plus.

Pay range: $27-31 p/h
