About the Company:
Our client is a well-established organization in the construction sector, known for its collaborative culture and commitment to operational excellence. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team and support day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and code vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly

  • Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner

  • Apply payments, manage aging reports, and follow up on outstanding balances

  • Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and documentation

  • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing or payment inquiries

  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
