A growing consumer services company based in Downtown Los Angeles, providing exceptional service and customer experiences across a broad range of clientele. Seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the accounting team and support daily financial operations in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
Position Overview:
The Accounting Specialist will handle a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger support. Key Responsibilities:
Process and code vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and credit card transactions.
Prepare and issue customer invoices; manage collections and payment application.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support journal entry preparation.
Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations and financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data.
Support the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of accounting experience in a corporate or consumer-facing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP system a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
