Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a part-time position in Arizona. This role offers a flexible start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am and involves working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to float between the Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales/Inventory departments, providing essential support where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist the payroll department with clerical functions such as filing and updating spreadsheets.
  • Support the sales and inventory team by reviewing daily reports from field locations and entering information into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Perform journal entries as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Intermediate-level skills in Excel.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing data.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

This part-time position requires 20 hours of work per week, with flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:00 am (M-F).

Benefits

Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $22, based on experience and qualifications.
