About the Role:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong collections experience to join a growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident in managing both receivables and customer communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounts receivable process, including billing and posting payments
Perform collections activities on past due accounts via phone and email
Research and resolve discrepancies, unapplied cash, and short payments
Maintain accurate aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely payments
Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
