Payroll Specialist (Temp possibly Temp-to-Hire)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations with accuracy and efficiency. This temporary role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position,
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare journal entries, and support reporting needs.
Partner with HR and Finance teams to improve processes and ensure accuracy.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2-4+ years of experience, more years of experience required if no degree
Proficiency with payroll/accounting software (Paylocity, ADP Run, etc.).
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required).
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Experience in financial services would be a plus.
