Accounting Clerk

About the role:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Specialist to join their team in California. This role involves managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Handling accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment distribution.
  • Managing accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during first shift hours.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range from $25 to $29 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
