Accurately process payroll for 150 employees on a (weekly/bi-weekly)
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including FLSA, ACA, and garnishments
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefits deductions
Prepare and file tax documents such as W-2s, 1099s, 941s, and 940s
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax withholdings
Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger entries
Coordinate with HR and accounting to ensure payroll accuracy and timely reporting
Manage year-end payroll tasks and support external audits as needed
Utilize payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, Paychex) efficiently and troubleshoot any system issues
Minimum [2-3] years of payroll processing experience
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax codes, and labor laws
Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
PAY DOE $29 to $33
