Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract position in California. This temporary role is expected to last between 6-12 weeks and provides an opportunity to work with a dynamic team, focusing on various accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
  • Book and receive deposits in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes through QuickBooks (QBs).
  • Perform ACH reconciliations to ensure accuracy of transactions.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing accounts receivable.
  • Strong skills in Excel for handling spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in applying payments and booking deposits.
  • Ability to perform ACH reconciliations effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Additional Details

The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
