Ledgent Finance & Accounting's is currently seeking an Immediate Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team in Florida. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing accounts payable tasks efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes and a basic understanding of Excel. Palm beach gardens, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform AP aging and reporting to ensure accurate tracking of outstanding invoices.
• Maintain AP transactions by processing purchase orders and check runs.
• Code invoices accurately and ensure vendor compliance with company policies.
• Conduct 3-way matching to verify receipt and accuracy of goods and services.
• Record transactions in the accounting system and perform reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts payable is required.
• Basic understanding of Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments effectively.

Required Work Hours

Standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay with a salary range of $22 to $26 per hour.
