Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Admin Assistant to join a dynamic property management office in Georgia. This role is perfect for an entry-level candidate with a keen interest in accounting and administrative functions, particularly within invoice processing and accounts payable/receivable. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations and maintaining financial records through the Yardi system. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their accounting skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Accurately input and process invoices into the Yardi system, ensuring timely and correct accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including rent collections and payment tracking.
  • Maintain accurate financial and tenant records across platforms and filing systems.
  • Monitor AP/AR activity and support month-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare deposits, track payments, and assist with tenant account reconciliations.
  • Answer and route calls, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings or property visits.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets as needed.
  • Liaise with tenants, vendors, and internal teams in a professional manner.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with maintenance/vendors as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting administrative support experience; property management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or other property management/accounting software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
