Our client, a rapidly growing financial institution in Houston, is seeking a Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager to start immediately on a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts receivable collections within the banking or mortgage industry. Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of distressed assets
• Contact clients through phone, email, and written correspondence to collect outstanding payments
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances; follow up on overdue accounts
• Resolve customer and vendor inquiries related to account balances and discrepancies
• Collaborate with deparmental leadership to establish and execute plan and/or terms
• Analyze reports and provide weekly updates to management on collections status

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounts receivable collections
• Prior experience in the banking or mortgage industry is required
• Strong understanding of ERP systems for processing and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
