Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a dedicated Property Accountant to join their client's team. This role is ideal for a professional who is detail-oriented and has a solid foundation in accounting, particularly within the property or real estate industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly and annual reconciliations across various ledger accounts.
  • Review revenue and expense transactions regularly to ensure accuracy.
  • Support bank reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies as needed.
  • Analyze lease data to detect income variances.
  • Assist with billing and adjustments related to common area maintenance (CAM).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Property Accountant or related role.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preference for accounting/finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
  • Self-driven with excellent prioritization skills to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Sharp analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and able to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and operational accuracy.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the property or real estate industry.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay with a range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree as a minimum educational requirement. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the financial operations of the property management team and contributing to their continued success.
