Fantastic Opportunity for an Senior Collections Specialist located in Northwest Houston, Texas. This is a temporary position lasting 10+ months with a growing banking client. Must have commercial banking, commercial real estate or mortgage industry experience. The company is looking to interview and have someone start ASAP. This role is working 100% in office.

Senior Collections Specialist Job Duties:

• Contact clients via phone, email, and letters to collect outstanding payments.
• Manage and monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Interacts and communicates with vendors and customers to resolve inquiries or requests regarding balances
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
• Analyzes A/R balances; reports weekly aging report with summary of balances to management, Perform AR collection on past-due balances
• Process and post payments by recording cash receipts and monitoring ACH transactions; ensures payments are applied to the correct account on a timely basis

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable Collections experience
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Experience with ERP system
• Banking Commercial Real Estate or Mortgage industry experience required
• Strong Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP's preferred)
