Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively partnering with a reputable service company in Northwest Houston to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a long-term contract assignment. This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running and contribute to a high-performing A/P team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full A/P process using a 3-way match system - ensuring invoices match purchase orders and all documentation is complete for prompt, authorized payments
• Prepare and process credit card statements accurately and efficiently
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to quickly resolve invoice discrepancies
• Handle weekly check runs and ensure timely vendor payments

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of recent A/P experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus)
• Sage software experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
