e-Billing Clerk/Legal Billing Clerk-Hiring Immediately!

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented e-Billing Clerk to join their team in California. This role involves managing a high volume of billing tasks within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, preferably within a law firm or other professional industry, and will work closely with attorneys and team members to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices.

Responsibilities

• Handle billing coordination tasks, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and firm practices.
• Manage 1,000 invoices monthly, including preparation, distribution, and changes to time listings for attorneys.
• Monitor, track, and resolve billing inquiries effectively.
• Prepare prebills for distribution and provide attorneys with fees/costs for matters.
• Invoice and manage e-billing clients, including managing e-billing budgets.
• Process monthly accruals via email or e-billing systems.
• Ensure detail organization and maintain good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comply with client billing guidelines and firm practices.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed to support the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of e-billing, with experience in ProLaw, SAP Ariba, and Collaborati.
• General understanding of budgets, purchase orders (PO#'s), and client-specific Matter IDs for eBilling clients.
• Experience calculating discounts.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of law firm and/or professional industry experience.
• 1-3 years' experience in billing or accounting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management.
• Strong team player with a focus on detail organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 37.5 HR work week.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
