Job Description

The Accounting Manager will collaborate with the Controller to oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient processes. This role includes managing accounts payable, payroll, financial systems, and analytics while supporting audits, financial planning, and internal controls. The Accounting Manager will also contribute to strategic initiatives, such as long-term financial planning and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and financial systems teams.
  • Manage bank account reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and notes payable.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements per GAAP and industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits, including retirement plans.
  • Maintain tax-related records, oversee lease accounting, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and evaluate internal controls, conducting periodic audits and recommending improvements.
  • Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Lead and mentor team members while championing company values of Safety, Ownership, Integrity, and Teamwork.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Is required
  • 6 to 8 + years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel expertise required); experience with Viewpoint (Vista) or similar software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction accounting and financial reporting (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.

PAY 103K to 120K
