Job Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing client invoices, managing payments, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process time entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Manage client trust account balances, payments, and refunds.
- Process client credit card payments, prepare daily deposits, and make account transfers.
- Track and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, initiate collection efforts.
- Prepare reports and assist with billing inquiries.
- Provide guidance to new attorneys and staff on time entry procedures.
- Ensure billing parameters align with client engagement letters.
- Comply with firm policies and assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years in accounting or accounts receivable, preferably in a legal setting or professional billing (hours) environment.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (3+ years).
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

Salary: $26-$32 Hourly
