Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented B2B Collections Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely collections of outstanding invoices and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to facilitate collections.
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections activities and client communications.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Analyze aging reports and develop strategies for reducing outstanding debt.
  • Prepare regular reports on collections status and provide insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong understanding of collection processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
