Job Description

Position: Accountant

Pay: $30-$35

Duration: Temp to hire

Job Duties: Responsible for managing financial aspects of grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and maintaining accurate records of all grant-related financial activities.

• Prepare and submit regular financial reports to grantors as required by funding agencies.
• Reconcile grant expenditures to ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted grant expenditures and provide variance analysis.
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for all grants.
• Ensure compliance with grant regulations and guidelines (federal, state, local, and private grants).

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent grant accounting experience

• Experience:

• • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with a focus on grants.
  • Experience with federal or state grant accounting is a plus.
