Job Description

Large, international company headquartered in Phoenix is looking for a strong, versatile, and dynamic Senior Accountant to grow their accounting team here in Phoenix. This role will work on the corporate accounting team, reporting to a dynamic manager with excellent leadership skills. This is a jack of all trades senior accountant role, the right candidate is flexible, nimble, and able to work well with teams around the world. Ths position will have exposure to multiple areas of the organization and have significant lateral and upward mobility.

Key responsibilities:

Manage key areas of month end, quarter end, and year end close

General ledger maintenance and additions/edits to departments and cost centers

Significant intercompany accounting

Monthly and quarterly international consolidations

Complex and detailed journal entries, reclassifications

Documentation and creation of policies and procedures

Assist financial reporting team with quarterly and annual schedules

Serve as liaison to internal and external auditors

Provide leadership with internal ad hoc reporting
