Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk with strong QuickBooks experience to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. You will also play a key role in ensuring their financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Enter financial transactions in QuickBooks and ensure accuracy
  • Support payroll processing as needed
  • Assist with general office administration and bookkeeping duties
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (2+ years of experience required)
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, or similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable and financial transaction recording
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
