On site Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant

Our client in Andover, Ma, security system installer is looking for an accounting manager/senior accountant to join their team. This role is a new position and will report directly to the CFO/Controller.
Additional Duties will be as follows:
- Act as point of contact for any questions for Finance team, including other offices
- Questions range from both Intacct and CW applications
- General administration duties for Connect Booster AR platform
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Additions, disposals, construction in progress projects, etc.
- Apply vendor credits for AP team as requested
- Issue checks for varying purposes (licenses, permits, donations, etc.) upon request from regions
- Allocate tickets on the AR service board to responsible employees
- Check run
- Print checks selected by CFO
- Pay select vendors via EFT through online portal
- Push any invoices or procurement that are stuck in CW and haven't migrated to Intacct
- Regulatory reporting
- Facilitate monthly Finance meeting to gauge progress toward month-end close
- Month-end close (includes various balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, etc.)
- Pay rents
- Download and record various insurance invoices, confirming no terminations
- Credit card expense reclass entry
- Summarize and record inventory adjustments, following up on any unusual items as necessary
- Conduct performance reviews for team members
- Fill in for employees when absent:
- Record customer checks received daily
- Daily banking
- Process new customer requests in CW
- Process new vendor requests in CW
- Any ad-hoc projects that come up
- Maintain PositivePay process in online Wintrust banking platform
- Review and approve sales tax filings in Avalara, record bill in Intacct
- Samsara oversight
- Drive improvements to the AR collection process
Requirements: - Strong Accounting Background
- Ideal candidate will have supervisory experience
- ERP Software experience
- BS in accounting or related field
