We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join a wonderful Finance Team!
Job Description:
Position Overview: The Financial Reporting Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This position will involve overseeing the preparation of financial statements, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the finance department in various aspects of financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) where applicable.
- Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key financial metrics and report on trends, variances, and performance against budget.
- External Reporting:
- Prepare and submit required financial reports to regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), if applicable.
- Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly reports for shareholders and investors.
- Internal Controls:
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to identify and address control weaknesses.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of financial analysts and accounting professionals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field REQUIRED
- CPA or CMA certification REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
