Our client in NE Minneapolis (NOT downtown) has created a brand new role on a brand new team! This is an A/R Disputes Team Lead. Ideal candidate would have at least a 2-year degree in finance/accounting and 5+ years of Accounts Receivable and disputes experience. Direct Hire Position. Up to $79,000/annually. Remote flexibility 2x/week (MUST work on site3x/week on average).
Job Description:
- Maintain and distribute disputes and collections reporting
- Ensure sufficient workflow coverage on a day-to-day basis by distributing new complaints to the team for processing and assisting with coverage needs
- Handle inquiries from team and internal and external customers
- Build and utilize reporting tools to monitor activity and risk; review and understand latest claim and dispute trends
- Identify and recommend workflow and process improvements, influencing dispute processes, policy, and new workstreams
- Learn and stay current with process changes; train existing and new team members
- Perform periodic quality review audits to identify training and coaching needs
- Manage personal and team email communications to assist with claim resolution
- Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2-year degree in Accounting (preferred)
- 3+ years of dispute resolution, accounts receivable and/or customer service experience
- Multi-division/Multi-factory experience (preferred)
- ERP experience (Great Plains, SAP, or Navision BONUS!)
