Job Title: Sr. Staff Accountant

Location: City of Industry, CA (100% on-site)

Pay Rate: $29/hr. - $40/hr.

Schedule: M- F, 8-5

Type: Direct Hire + Great Benefits

Duties: Right hand of the Financial Controller. Will be responsible for Month-end, Quarter-End, and Year-End closing and overseeing a Staff Accountant. This position organizes, coordinates, and leads the work of clerical and technical accounting personnel; prepares complex financial and accounting report and studies, coordinates annual audit with independent auditors and conducts internal audits of accounting standards and practices and issues recommendations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Three (3) years of Sr accounting (ME/QE/YE closing experience)

* knowledge of budgeting, and year-end audit preparation experience- is a plus

* Some experience in a lead capacity is desirable.

* Must be able to pass a Background Check

* Non-Profit or Educational Industry experience is a plus but not required.
