Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to Join our Team
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities of the company, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the budgeting process and provide insights for future financial planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- GL Reconciliation on all properties, CAM reconciliations, fixed assets
- Analyze financial data, identify opportunities to enhance accounting procedures and internal controls. and provide insights to management.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance, including income tax returns and audits. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and provide guidance.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software such as SAP, Yardi, Sage, or Netsuite a plus
- Property management / Construction Industry preferred - Commercial, Residential
