Staff Accountant

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Scottsdale, in-office/hybrid 1 day per week)

Duties:

• Assisting Controller with month-end close
• Track and control daily banking activity
• Revenue reporting
• Journal entries and adjusting entries
• Assist in maintaining financial records & producing financials
• Account reconciliation
• Audit and analytical review
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing
• Daily interaction with clients, with high degree of customer service.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting or business related major required (will consider candidates just about to finish degree)
• Preferred experience in the hospitality industry
• 1+ years of accounting experience with the duties listed above
• JD Edwards software experience ++
• Hospitality industry experience a plus
• Excel skills required
