Position Summary:
For this temp-to-hire position, the Accounting Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely invoicing, verification and reconciliation of accounts. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Reconcile debits and credits on customer accounts
  • Code expenses to proper general ledger accounts, funding sources, and activity codes
  • Respond to any A/R requests for invoice copies and statements
  • Prepare work papers and journal entries as needed
  • Respond to customers regarding their invoices or credit
  • Process and enter credit card reconciliations
Competencies and Skills
  • Detail-orientated
  • Proven verbal and written skills
  • Organization and time management
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in a non-profit accounting environment
  • 3+ years experience in full charge AR and AP functions
  • QuickBooks, MS Office, Excel (Advanced)
Compensation:  $24 - $27/hr DOE
