Job Description

A dynamically growing multi-billion dollar publicly traded firm with over 25 locations across the U.S. is seeking a Senior Accountant for their corporate accounting department.

The organization is recognized for having a friendly, supportive, collaborative culture with lots of room for career growth. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting duties including preparing and posting journal entries, G/L reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting and supporting external audit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance.
  • 3+ years' experience in corporate general ledger accounting.
  • Skilled with general ledger, month-end, journal entries, account reconciliations.
  • Big 4, mid-tier, public accounting experience for mid-to-large corporations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills.

Nice to have:
  • CPA or CPA tracking is a plus.
  • ERP systems experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a publicly traded firm.
