Ledgent is working on a Fantastic Opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Northwest Houston, TX area.  This is a long term TEMPORAY position and is 100% in office. If you are enjoy learning new skills and are unemployed, this could be the role for you!

Payroll Specialist Job Duties:

  • Prepares and process full cycle payroll for 500+ employees
  • Reviews timecards 
  • Monitors missed punches and incorrect data
  • Understands FLSA regulations
  • Answers all payroll inquiries 
  • Assist with state payroll tax and unemployment 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefit laws
  • Assist with Workman's Comp audits 
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree preferred 
  • 3-5 years of Payroll processing experience
  • ADP Workforce Now preferred 
  • Good communication skills
Pay: $28-33 hourly
