Job Description

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent manufacturing client in Minneapolis needing to permanently add to their Billing team! If you have at least one year of billing experience (non medical), or 3 years of AR, APPLY TODAY!!! 

Responsibilities: 
*    Posts customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactions maintain up-to-date billing system
*    Generate and send out invoices
*    Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
*    Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
*    Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
*    Research and resolve payment discrepancies
*    Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
*    Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
*    Process credit card payments
*    Investigate and resolve customer queries
*    Process adjustments
*    Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
*    Assist with month-end closing

Qualifications: 
*    Attention to detail and accuracy
*    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*    Organizational skills
*    Associate's degree preferred
*    At least 1 year of non-medical billing experience required
