Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pay: $28 - $33 per hour

About Us: Ledgent is a leading company in the construction industry, dedicated to providing high-quality services and solutions. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts receivable for our construction projects.
• Generate and send out invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to billing and accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with large ERP software i.e. SAGE 100
• Knowledge of construction industry-specific billing practices and regulations.
