Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Review all payroll actions including exemptions, deductions, wage adjustments, paid time off and pay rates.
- Direct customer support and timely response to payroll inquiries.
- Resolve escalated wage and hour issues with promptness.
- Review and approve all payroll transactions.
- Prepare various reports for review by the Central Accounting Team.
- Ensure employee records are efficiently maintained; create new systems as needed
The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
- Two years' experience processing Payroll..
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting software and computer systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
