My client is seeking a Mid-Level Staff Accountant to join their team! This position is 100% onsite! APPLY TODAY!

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting

* A minimum of 2-5 years of full cycle Accounting

* Mathematical minded-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

* Strong experience in MS Dynamics, Great Plains and strong Excel skillset

Day to day duties:

* Prepares journal entries by compiling and analyzing financial information documenting business transactions.

* Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis, ensuring accuracy and proper coding of recorded entries; in addition to monitors compliance with US GAAP and company procedures.

* Reviews, researches and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

* Analyzes and records expenditures charged to the corporate credit cards; in addition to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to the use of corporate credit cards.

* Prepares and processes accounts payable vouchers and payments.

* Analyzes and reconciles accounts payable, coding and accruals as needed.

* Prepares monthly bank account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and proper coding of recorded cash transactions.

* Assists in maintaining the client's business licenses in all states in which this client has operations.

* Prepares and files biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payroll tax reports and deposits.

* Develops and analyzes ad hoc financial spreadsheets as needed.

* Prepares statistical and financial analysis on accounts as needed.

* Assists with other accounting duties as needed.

* Interacts with fellow employees, supervisors and management in a courteous, helpful and respectful manner.

* Understands and follows company policies and procedures.

* Attends meetings as directed and is responsible for acting on supervisory /management directives in a timely manner.

* Represents the company to public and employees in a positive and professional manner.

* Provides example of consistency and dependability in execution of duties and responsibilities.

* Complies with the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that is required for this position due to the confidential and sensitive nature of the information, processes, and procedures accessed and utilized.

* No over-time in this position

* Other duties as assigned
