Job Title: CPA Accountant

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPA Accountant with a strong background in nonprofit organizations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves performing audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and programs.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and documentation.
• Provide expert advice on financial management and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
• Mentor and train junior staff members on audit processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant auditing standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with various industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, healthcare, and non-profit organizations.
• Familiarity with tax preparation and planning.
