About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Tax Manager to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our tax strategy and compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring we minimize tax liabilities while staying in full accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review complex tax returns for the company.
* Manage tax provision process and ensure accurate tax accounting.
* Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
* Oversee tax compliance for all federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
* Stay up-to-date on all relevant tax laws and regulations.
* Manage and coordinate external tax advisors during audits.
* Supervise and mentor junior tax staff.
* Develop and implement internal tax processes and controls.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field (CPA preferred).
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm, with a focus on corporate tax.
* Proven experience with tax research and interpretation of complex tax laws.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax accounting software.
