Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles? Do you have experience working with public tax filing? If so, we want to hear from you!


Our client is searching for a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Responsibilities:
* Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
* Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
* Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts
* Generate accurate and timely financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements)
* Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation (public tax experience essential)
* Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
* Stay up-to-date on relevant tax laws and regulations
* Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on public tax experience
* Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Compensation & Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
* Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan

The position offers a hybrid schedule after a set training period!
