Marketing Coordinator Job Description

Position Summary (Purpose of job):

The Marketing Content Coordinator is responsible for developing compelling product marketing content to position and differentiate our clients products through effective messaging and creating marketing collaterals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills and writing skills, the ability to translate technical information into digestible content for diverse audiences, and experience in working with graphic designers developing ancillary non-technical sales support tools like multi-page product literature documents, product brochures, case studies, and other sales support collaterals. They will also need to understand brand guidelines and marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead marketing efforts surrounding product launches and content development for sales enablement marketing collaterals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Applications, Training, and Sales to define product positioning/features and translate technical details into benefits for the end-user.

2. Owner of all marketing assets, update and maintain assets library. Coordinate the distribution of content across various channels, including websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and third-party publications.

3. Collaborate with the sales department to identify and develop case studies and reference sites.

4. Stay updated on the latest HVAC industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep up with best practices to continuously improve content quality.

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the HVAC industry to enhance product content

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required.

2-5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B or technology-focused environment.

Business Experience:

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong writing skills

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS)

Ability to work and collaboration in task management systems and other productivity software

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Organized, strategic, analytical person and motivational.

Effective communication, follow-up, project management and documentation skills.

Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences.

Cooperative collaborator, initiative-taker, multi-tasker, and organized.

Ability to collaborate successfully with various personalities.

Experience with graphic design tools is a PLUS (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

Video editing software experience is a PLUS.

Working Conditions:

Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.)

Visual acuity, color distinction, and numeric and character detail distinction for the analysis and preparation of statistical reports and information

Occasionally work additional hours beyond the normal schedule

This role may require occasional travel to support our customers.

Overtime and travel as required.

Physical Requirements:

Operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and view a video display terminal more than 90% of work time. Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to twenty-five pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures.
