Job Description

A major global company in consumer goods manufacturing and distribution is seeking a qualified Senior Staff Accountant for their corporate headquarters. The Sr. Staff Accountant will be responsible to support the accounting and finance team with general ledger accounting duties including month-end close and financial reporting. The Sr. Staff Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations, fixed assets, sales and property tax filings, journal entries, variance analysis, inventory accounting, audit support and more.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- Minimum of 3+ years' of corporate accounting experience with a mid-to-large firm

- Strong G/L accounting experience, financial reporting, month-end close, fixed assets, inventory accounting, reconciliations.

- ERP systems experience, ideally with SAP, Oracle, or similar system.

- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS).
