Job Description

  • Produces monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Investigates, analyzes variance and provides recommendations to management, including Finance and Operations, to drive business results and process improvements.
  • Oversees team's work to ensure that all shop-related financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Maintaining the general ledger.
  • Overseeing all of the job costing functions
  • Prepares the financial reporting for the organization
  • .Assisting in the monthly budgeting and forecasting
  • Leads and coordinates the annual physical Inventory program within the shop network and provides feedback and recommendation of inventory management to improve inventory turnover.
  • Assists the CFO in gathering analytical data for reporting 
  • Leads and coordinates the annual audit
  • Coaches and develops the department's staff in areas of accounting
  • Participates in and actively supports quality projects and initiatives to ensure that the Company achieves its goals.
SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, month-end close, job costing
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and other cloud-based applications is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPA/CMA certification is a strong plus.
