Location: Southlake, TX (Onsite 100%)

Department: Finance/Accounting

Reports To: Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Southlake, TX. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and extensive experience with general ledger accounting, SAP, GAAP, and auditing. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.

1. General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and oversee all accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval.

1. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

1. Auditing and Compliance:

• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal controls and processes.

1. SAP Management:

• Utilize SAP for financial transactions, reporting, and data management.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data within the SAP system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues in a timely manner.

1. General Accounting Tasks:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

1. Lending and Financial Analysis:

• Provide support and analysis for general lending activities.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial data.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on general ledger accounting, SAP, GAAP, and auditing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP is required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Work Environment: This position is onsite 100% in Southlake, TX.
